Hand crafted Stave drums for
musicians that are after something unique and personal
Depending on your taste Tylar
are happy to build you a 10, 20 or 30 stave drum. Obviously
increasing the number of staves in the drum will affect the sound
of the item, but the beauty of any instrument and its owner is that
every musician has their own unique ideas and preferences on how
the instrument they play should sound.
Tylar are able to provide you
with drums from 8 to 24 inches in diameter and up to 20 inches in
depth.
On specific requests Tylar can craft you an individual drum of
combinations of wood,
Tylar have quite enjoyed crafting combinations of woods, one in
particular which they call a Neapolitan because it is crafted from
Spotted Gum, Jarrah and Walnut which for their natural colours
resemble the ice cream ‘Neapolitan’.
