Classed
as one of the African rosewoods. Bubinga is a very solid timber,
fine grained, hard and heavy. Widely used by Luthiers, Bubinga is
known for having a very clear and ringing tone with a lot of
sustain. It has a wonderful rich and mellow sound with well rounded
overtones. A personal favourite.
